Sweet Little Girl

Happy Memorial Day!

I hope you got the day off to spend with friends and family!
We are going to a BBQ later but I have a little time to stamp today.  Need to work on thank you cards for my sons graduation which is this week.

But before I get started on those, I have a card to share today that has nothing to do with the holiday or graduation but it's super cute!

You may have noticed the new DT badge for Spectrum Noir Markers on the side of my blog.  I haven't made a formal announcement because I was waiting for their new web site to go live.  I am very excited to be on their first design team.

You will want to bookmark the Spectrum Noir Blog because the team will be putting up daily tutorials and inspiration just for you!

Regarding these new markers:
Spectrum Noir markers were created for crafters and colorists wanting to use alcohol markers for their coloring desires. Understanding that the previous choices were at a price point that many could not afford and numbering systems were hard to understand, Spectrum Noir focused on these facts. They are similar to other alcohol markers in that they are alcohol based, blendable, have a blender pen, refillable, replaceable nibs, and work similar to other alcohol based markers. They do have a small harder nib rather than a brush tip which alleviates the need to feather to blend colors together and makes it easy to get into small spaces. Just add your light color, then your dark color and blend together with tiny circles or dabbing motion where the two colors join together for a nice gentle blend. (be sure your first color is still wet to allow a smoother blend). There are several ways to color as with all alcohol markers. Find a way that works for you.

I will be sharing many more tips here and there will be some amazing tutorials on the new blog so stay tuned!

For this projet I used:
Spectrum Noir Markers: (Skin-FS2, FS5, FS3, clothes-DG1, DG2, DG4, Pillow-BT1, BT3, BT4, Kitty-IG1, IG2, Hair TN3, TN5, GB1)
Paper: Bazzil Basic Card stock, CC Ultra Smooth Card Stock, DCWV Patterned Paper
Other: Spellbinders Dies, Recollections bling, Prima flowers

Thanks for stopping by!
