I have to admit that I have been a little intimidated by these stencils in the past but not any more!!!
The Lovely Pam Hornschu, Design Team Coordinator/Social Media and Marketing Director and Sample Artist for Dreamweaver Stencils recently moved into my neighborhood so a couple of weeks ago I conned her in to having me over to play.
She showed me all kinds of great techniques and now I am hooked on stencils!
Here is a card that I made using Mermaid from Stampendous and four different stencils.
The two shells are LM106 Scallop and LR 12 Sand Dollar. I used Gold Paste on the Sand Dollar and Pearlescent Paste on the Scallop shell. When they were dry I brushed on Gold Dust Metalic F/X.
I used pearlescent paste on the teal panel with Cathedral Windows large.
The bottom brown panel was stenciled with seashells.
I used the Double Glitter Technique for the LM 294 Summer Stencil.
I used Stampendous Crystal Micro Glitter and Teal micro glitter.
I just love how this card turned out!
Hope you like it too!
You can see more amazing creations all week long and we will end the week with a big 'ole blog hop with lots of fun prizes so be sure and check back!
