Thinking of You Today

One of the great things about being on the Stampendous design team are all the great products donated to us from terrific companies.

Creative Impressions is one of those companies and all this week the team has been sharing projects we have created using their terrific ribbon!

For this card I used one of the new Stampendous images, Nectar Seeker.

I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

The sentiment is Scrolled Thinking.

And of course...when we hop there are prizes!

You can check out all the prize rules and get more inspiration

Thanks for stopping by!

  7. We have a hummingbird feeder on the desk.
I love to sit and watch them hover.
they are also mean - playing king of
the hill - and hurting each other.
    Your card is colored beautifully.
    thanks for sharing.

  13. You fooled me!! At first, I wondered why you would use those colors for a flower/hummingbird card, but when I saw the whole thing I could see why. You were intending to use those colors when you colored your focal point and you did it very well. The images actually set off the colors behind it and made them fit into the picture. I'm glad to see rounded corners on the pattern paper, too; it seems like a lost technique that I really like because it softens the whole card for the recipient and says that you cared enough to do the extra step. You are also an excellent shader of colors as seen in the hummingbird and flowers. I also liked the way you worked the two lines of turquoise ribbon in; again it made the cardstock and patterned papers fit in.
