I was going for the look of a Starbucks cup but I think it ended up with too much white!

Oh well...it's still super cute!

More Woodgrain and Leaves

Very excited that this new Woodgrain background stamp has been released at 

The Stamps of Life.

I used Leaf2stamp set on this card too.

I used the solid stamps to stamp ink on the leafs...no coloring!

I hope to get a video out this weekend showing how I did this technique.

This new background stamp is one that you will want in your collection for sure!

Flower Power Background

When I made today's card I was very excited with the color combo that I came up with but now that I am looking at it I am not sure what I was thinking.....

But it is still a great showcasing of this awesome Flower Power Background die.

I used the Thank You Circle drop in Die for this card.

I am going to make more of this...but maybe with some other colors.

Happy Monday!

Is there actually such a thing?  

Well, it would be a happy Monday if you received this beautiful card.  I used the Sizzix Scallop with Thanks Sentiment Set die and the new tropical2stamp club set.

l colored the Hibiscus flowers and leaves with my prisma pencils and blended with blending stumps  and gamsol.

This card die makes it so easy to put together a quick, simple, beautiful card!

I am not home today because hubby and I went up to Oregon for a few days to celebrate the 4th

Thanks Drop In

There is a new Stand Up Card that was released to day at The Stamps of Life.

It's the Word Stand Up Die and in addition there are work drop ins...Love, thanks, smile.

I used the Thanks drop in with the new Word stand up die for today's card.

The flowers and leaves come with this cool card die set!

I added the grass die too.

I just love how this card looks when you open it up!

Yesterday was Administration Professionals Day!

I work with a few fantastic Admin's and wanted to give them a little Thanks!

I made little signs to stick in the Bundlets that I bought them.

I used the Sizzix Mini Card Thanks Sentiment die.

I cut out the Thanks is 6 different colors and then cut them apart to create these fun signs.

I used Shish Kabob sticks which I glued to the back of the words.

I used the new Extra Large Bow die and just taped across the back to the stick.

And then finally I added a little tag cut with the dotted tag dies.

 Here is a closer look at one of the Bundlets.

I left one on each persons desk for them to see when they came in to work.

Everyone loved them and I hope you do to!

C4C469: Ground Hog Day

I am so excited to be joining the ladies at on the Crazy4Challenges blog for the month of February.

I am so glad that they invited me back to play!

Today is Ground Hog Day so the challenge is to use a Ground Hog image for your card.

Or...if like me you don't have a Ground Hog stamp, you can use any other round critter on your card!

A mouse is a ground critter...right?

I hope so because that's what I used!

Thank You Flowers

Hello Friends!

I made another card using the new Sizzix Card Flower & Circle drop ins.

I used the Thank You Circle 3-D Drop-ins Die set for the center.

This die is great.

It can be used to create a vertical or horizontal card.

I added a few extra flowers created with Mini Flower Dies to the card front.

I added some striiped patterned paper to the inside from the Cheerful Pattern paper pack.

This card took about 15 minutes to make...quick, easy and beautiful!!

Today is National Dr's Day...so the Crazy4challenges team is challenging you to make a "thank you for your help" card for a doctor or nurse.

Perfect excuse to use a Art Impressions stamp set that I bought a long time ago but haven't inked up.

I colored the nurse with Prisma pencils and blended with blending stumps and gamsol.

The sentiment is from Stampendous.

Today I am sharing another card that I made with the new Shadow Box Card Die.

I made this one for a friend at work that has been giving me rides to work for the last couple of weeks while hubby's truck was in the shop.

I created a pocket for a gift card on the back using the Tag holder Die set (just trimmed the top off)

The sentiment on the front of the pocket was created with Sizzix Word Labels Stamps and Dies.

And...the whole thing folds flat and fits into an A2 envelope.

Butterfly Thanks

Today I am sharing a quick fun card that I created with the new Butterfly2stamp.

The butterflies in this set are really cute and fun.

The set comes with stamps to stamp the color onto the image

and....of course Stephanie has matching dies too so I can pop up the butterfly.

I used the Always Patterned Paper Pad.

Hit the Spot

It's been a while since I showed some love to this stamp set so I took it out to play over the weekend.

This is Ladybugs2love.

The spotted paper is from the Thank You Collection.

I used the matching die to cut out the ladybug and pop her up on the scallop circle.

OH...and that adorable bow?

It's the new Mini Bow Die.

This is a simple sketch but I love how it all came together!
