C4C396: Have a Ball!

Today is my last day as a guest designer for the Crazy4challenges Blog.

According to Days of the year calendar, today is International Tiger Day.

These "Days of the Year" crack me up but Im good with any inspiration to make a card!

Today's inspiration challenge...Create a card using the colors Orane, black, and white.

Here is my challenge card using Slam Dunk from High Hopes Stamps.

I colored the image with my Prisma color penils.

(Orange, peach, black, Powder Blue, Burnt Ochre)

Worlds Best Father

Hello High Hopes Fans!

Yep....Father's Day is next weekend!

Are you ready?

I am...because High Hopes Stamps has tons of fantastic man stamps that are perfect for that perfect dad in your life.

Here is the card that I made for my father in law using Bob loves his tractor.

Now I know that this is an AG tractor and it should be green but I colored it yellow because for years , before he retired, my father in law was an owner operator who drove a big yellow tractor so I thought it would be fun to make it yellow.

I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils.

(lemon yellow, canary yellow, olive green, peach, black, silver, violet blue, orange)

I pulled out my B00 copic to shade the wheels and my G67 for the grass.

Birthday Golfer

Hello High Hopes Fans!

I am continuing to add to my birthday card stash for work.

This is another 5 x 7 card that I created so that there is plenty of room for the whole department to sign.

Today's card features Bob loves golf.

I colored Bob with my Prisma colored pencils.

(Scarlet Red, turquoise, orange, spring green, peach, light umber, grass green, aqua, blue)

The paper is from EK Success.

The birthday die cut is by Sizzix.

I used Its Your Day for the inside.

Set Sail

I am so ready for Summer!

We keep getting little hints of it which gets me more excited!

This card reminds me of some of what I love about the summer...beautiful skylines, the Ocean breeze, being on the water.

Today I have a little summery hint of what's coming from Stampendous.

This card was created using a brand new stamp set that will be released in April!

I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils.

And that fun sand was created with Golden Sand Embossing Powder.

Birthday Dude

Happy Friday!

Friday is my day to post on the High Hopes Blog and I have a great Masculine birthday card to share with you.

This card measures 5" x  7" because I made it for one of the guys I work with and we need room for the 20+ people in our department to sign it.

The image is Bob Loves his Motorcycle from High Hopes Stamps.

I colored it with Prisma pencils and blended it with gamsol and blending stumps.

The sentiment is Happy Birthday Script.

The paper was from my scrap folder and is a couple of years old but it's from Hobby Lobby.

The dies are Fitted Frames by Stampendous.

Trout and Friends

Sharing another stencil creation card today.

Trout and Friends is the perfect stencil for fisherman or woman in your life.

I stenciled the design with regular embossing paste and let it dry.

Then I put the stencil back over the dry design and added ink to color it.

Father's Day is coming

Happy Tuesday!

It's time for my weekly High Hopes Blog post.

Easter is over so now it's time for us cardmaker's to start thinking about the next card making occasion...graduation and Father's Day are next up!

Today I made cards using images that would work great for all your Father's Day cards!

This is Handy Dragon.

I colored him with colored pencils

The tools are from the Four Tool Set.

Paper is from the Doodle Bug Design Happy Camper paper pack.

I colored this one with colored pencils and used paper from the same paper pack.

The image is Flame Broilin'.

Next Tuesday I'll be back with a card that I made using one of the images from the new release.
