Backgrounds, Frogs, and Turtles...oh, my!

The Backgrounder Blitz is still going on over at Cornish Heritage Farms. Have you checked it out yet? We're having a blast!
I wanted to share some of the coolest things about the CHF Backgrounders.
First they are all made of the fabulous red rubber that all CHF stamps are manufactured with. Secondly, there are 90 different background designs to choose from!

But the best thing about CHF Backgrounders is that they can be purchased unmounted. Without the wood, they are much cheaper which means you can buy more of them! But the best thing about unmounted stamps is the storage. The picture at the top shows how I store my backgrounders. This is a CD storage box that I bought from Office Depot. It had 21 backgrounders in it.

Then very first backgrounder I ever bought from Cornish Heritage Farms was the cow print one. At the time I only bought wood mounted stamps and really didn't get the whole "unmounted" thing.

This picture shows four unmounted backgrounders next to the wood mounted one. I have a large acrylic block that I use with my backgrounders but I know a lot of people who just lay the backgrounder on the table, ink it up, lay their card stock over the top and brayer or rub across the top with their fingers. Pretty cool, huh?

Two more quick shares!!! Today is the release of the two newest Friendly Kritter images so I wanted to share two cards I made with them.

The first one is made with the new Beach Turtles stamp and the sentiment is from Mona Lisa's new Script Essential Expressions:

This one is made with Singing Frogs:

You can check out more Friendly Kritter projects in the CHF Gallery. Enjoy!!!

Very very cute. I love the rounded corners on the second card.
