Happy Hump Day!

I am sharing another Stampendous fall stencil card today.

I stenciled the Cornucopia Stencil with regular embossing paste.

After it dried I replaced the stencil and then sponged on Tsukineko Splendor Ink on the image to color it.

There are so many fun stencils available from Stampendous and they are a blast to experiment with too!

Fall Thanks

You wouldn't know it if you walked outside lately as the temperatures still feel like summertime but I can tell by the calendar that fall will still be here!

Today's card is a tribute to fall in hopes that it will soon be here!

I used the Large Oak Leaves Metal Stencil  and the Small Thanks Metal Stencil from Stampendous.

I used the Metallic FX Mica Powders to get this cool look!

Curly Christmas Tree

The Stampendous Team are sharing their Tree projects all week long.

Today I am sharing another stenciled tree project that is perfect for Christmas.

This is Curly Christmas Tree.

I stenciled the tree on white cardstock with regular embossing paste and then covered the wet paste with micro glitter.

The background was created by stenciling the Holly Scroll Metal Stencil on red cardstock with Copper embossing paste.

The sentiment is Merry Christmas.

One Tree...Two Ways...

This week the Stampendous ladies are sharing our tree creations.

Stampendous has a wide array of stamps and stencils featuring trees!

Today I am sharing two cards that I made with the Tree of Life meal stencil.

For this first card I applied various distress inks directly to a panel of cardstock to create a pretty background.  When it dried I stenciled the Tree of Life over the top of the panel with glossy black embossing paste.

For the second card I also used the Tree of Life meal stencil but the card looks totally different!

I created the background by laying the Large Scales metal stencil on top of a white panel of cardstock and sponging distress ink over the top of it.a

Then I stenciled the Tree of Life over the top of the background with regular embossing paste.

After the paste dried I lay the stencil back over the tree and then sponged ink over the top to color the image.

Jellyfish

The Stampendous Design Team is celebrating all the creatures "Under the Sea" this week!

Today I am sharing a beautiful card that I made with the Jellyfish stencil.

To create the background I added drops of Red Violet, Ultramarine Blue, and Opaque white Deco Art Acrylic paint to a Creative Palette. Then I lay a panel of white cardstock over the palette and pressed the backside.

Once dry, I stenciled the jellyfish over the top with Pearlescent Embossing Paste.

While the paste was still wet I sprinkled Crystal Micro Glitter over the top to add a little sparkle.

Hello

The Stampendous Team wil be sharing lots of awesome stencil projects all week long!

Today I am sharing a card that uses three stencils.

I had some fun with the boot stencil.

After I traced the stencil on white cardstock, I had a little doodling fun.

Then I colored the boot with copic markers.

I stenciled the Houndstooth Stencil on brown cardstock with black embossing paste.

I did the same with the Hello Stencil.

Tall Poppy

Today I am sharing a tall skinny card that I made just to mix it up a little!

I stenciled the Tall Poppy Stencil on a white panel with Regular Embossing paste.  When the paste dried I replaced the stencil over the image and sponged ink on the image.  Then I cut the tall poppy into 3 2" squares.

The card base was created by folding a 8" x 8 1/2" panel of orange cardstock in half.

Then I adhered a yellow strip of cardstock on the left side of the card.

I punched a strip of green cardstock and then added it to the card.

I backed each of the stenciled panels with orange and green cardstock and then added them to the card.

The final touch was the yellow ribbon.

Jolly Holiday

Happy Monday!

It's back to work for a lot of us after the long holiday weekend but I am ready to go back.

I had such a productive weekend.

I nearly knocked out all my Christmas shopping and the decorations are done.

I'll have to admit, hubby and I may have looked a little like the pair below at one point on Saturday!

This adorable image is Light Wrapping from House Mouse Designs.

I colored the image with my Prisma Colored Pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Visions Perfectly Clear Set.

I used Dreamweaver Stencil, Christmas Lights Border on the top and bottom.

I stenciled with Regular Embossing Paste and when dry I returned the stencil and sponged ink on the stenciled image.

Airbrushed Stencils

The Stampendous team was given some wonderful paper crafting tools to play with and this week we are sharing our creations all this week!

This was a fun, simple card that I made using the Tall Daisies Stencil.

For my card today I used:

The Perfect Airbrush

Look at those amazing layers!

I used the Mini Perfect Layers to create the black 1/16" layers.

To create the main image I stenciled the tall daisies with glossy black embossing and allowed to dry.

Then I used the Perfect Airbrush to spray copic ink across the paper.

When dry I stamped the sentiment with black memento ink.

Finally all those amazing layers were cut using the Mini Perfect Layers.

If you give a mouse a paintbrush...

It's the last day of the HOOT convention.

The theme is If you give a mouse a paintbrush....

so in honor of this fun theme I colored up a new House Mouse Image!

This image is scheduled to release from Stampendous in October but in honor of the HOOT convention they have it on the website a little early!

It's called Playful Painters.

I colored the image with my Prisma colored pencils and blended with blending stumps and gamsol.

The ribbon is from May Arts.

See that cool paintbrush embellishment?

I made that by stenciling the paint brush from the Large chunky tools metal stencil on a white scrap of cardstock with regular embossing paste.

When the stenciled paintbrush dried I replaced the stencil and then sponged on Splendor Ink to color it.

I cut it out and used 3D foam to adhere it to the card.

Fall Stencils

It's Thursday, which is the day that the Stampendous team shares some of our Stencil creations.

Today I have a new fall stencil to share with you.

It's called Leaf Icons Stencil.

To created this card, I stenciled the design on vanilla cardstock with Regular Embossing Paste and set it aside to dry.

Once it was dry I replaced the stecil and sponged Splendor Ink onto the design to color.

Sparkly Ocean

Boy is it HOT this week!

No doubt about it...summer is here!

Summer makes me yearn for the ocean so I thought I would share this fun ocean scene card that I made with the Under the Sea stencil.

I used the Fitted Frames B set to create a fun easel card.

I also used  Sticky Panels for the Double glitter technique.

The stenciled the Small Scallop Shell on turquoise cardstock with Silver Embossing Paste and fussy cut it out before adding it to the inside card panel.

Directions:
1. Fold an 11" x 5 1/2" piece of Tropical Splash cardstock in half to create a 5 1/2" square card base
2. Adhere a 5 1/4" panel of Poolside cardstock to the card
3. Stencil the waves stencil on a piece of Tropical splash cardstock with regular embossing paste and allow to dry before adhering to the card
4. Stamp the boat on a piece of white cardstock and color with pencils
5. Die cut the boat out and adhere to the card
6. stamp the waves on a panel of Tropical Splash cardstock with VersaMark ink and emboss with Detail White embossing powder
7. Die cut wave and adhere to card
8. Stamp sentiment on card
