Today's challenge chicks challenge was to do a masculine project. Since I am on the GM team I was really excited to play with my new stamps that are coming out on the 22nd. I decided to make a box. This box could be used for a gift box or it would look great sitting on a work bench, desk, or dresser.
It was pretty quick and easy to make. I started with a 99 cent paper mache box from JoAnn's. I painted it with Adirondack's Pitch Black Acrylic Paint dauber. After it dried I stamped the sides and top with Diamond Plate Backgrounder with Brilliance silver pigment ink and then embossed with silver dollar EP. Stamped the Truck image on a white panel, colored with copics. The brads are from Michael's. I trimmed the panel and box top edges with silver leafing pen and then backed with black and red Prism cardstock and adhered it to the box. The ribbon around the edge is by Ofray.
