Core-dinations meets Stampendous!

All this week the Stampendous Design Team is playing with Core-dinations Cardstock!!!

I am joining in the fun today with a side step card that focuses on this beautiful

I created my card base out of Scarlet Core-dinations cardstock.  Then I embossed a panel of Broken China Distress collections card stock with my Cuttlebug Wicker Weave embossing folder.  I used the Core-dination sanding block to knock the color off the raised parts of the panel before adhering it to the card.

I just love how the lighter brown shows through when I tore the strip of Walnut Stain Distressed cardstock to create my "dirt".

The Amaryllis were colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.
Red: CR11-CR8-CR7-CR5
Green: CG4-CG2-CG1
yellow: GB4-GB2

I embossed the sentiment and patterned strip with Aged Scarlet embossing enamel.
The sentiment is from the "'Tis the Season" clear set.

Here's another picture of my card at a different angle.

There is a lot more inspiration on these blogs:

Make sure you leave a little love on each of the blogs you visit because we'll be randomly choosing random commenter's from random blogs for some fun prizes!!!
