Create your own Patterned Paper

It's time for another bi-weekly challenge on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog.
This weeks challenge is to create your own Background Paper.

I had fun with this one and actually created two cards for the challenge.

I used Ornamental Beauty for both of the cards.
First I stamped images on a white panel with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I colored Lemon and Tangerine Gelatos on the panel and rubbed them all over the page with my finger.  I used a wet wipe to wipe the excess Gelatos off the embossed parts.

I repeated the process with the main image.

For this one I stamped the background with VersaMark and embossed with Detail Black embossing powder.

The center of the flower is a brad from Eyelet Outlet.

Stamps:
Ornamental Beauty from Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper:
Recollections colored cardstock
Mohawk bright white cardstock
Ink:
VersaMark ink by Tsukineko
Other:

Stampendous Embossing Powder
Dots and Dashes ribbon
Martha Stewart border punch
