High Hopes: Paper Piecing

This weeks High Hopes Blog Challenge is Paper Piercing.

If you've never done paper piecing I created a tutorial last year that you can check out HERE.

Here is my challenge card:

I usually try to use some of the same paper on the card that I use for the paper piecing because I think it helps make it "pop".

I colored his skin and hair with my spectrum Noir Markers:
Skin: CR3-FS9-FS4-FS1
Hair: TN8

Stamps:
Treasure map by High Hopes
On Guard Oberto by High Hopes
Birthday Caarrrghd by High Hopes
Ships Wheel by High Hopes
Ink:
memento Tuxedo Black dye ink
Spectrum Noir Markers
Ranger Walnut Distress Ink
Paper:
Bo Bunny patterned paper
Bazzill Basic cardstock
Mohawk bright white cardstock
Other:
Sponge
Brads

Be sure and stop by the  High Hopes Blog to check out more of the design team samples and to join the challenge!

Piecing or piercing? Looking at your adorable card, I'm fairly certain piecing, but for those who only look at titles...
