Stampendous Tea Time

Did you see all the amazing new Tea stamps that Stampendous released last month?
When I saw them I knew I wanted to make a fun box to hold teabags.

I don't drink tea but I have a lot of friends who do and would love this box!

I used a lot of stamps to create it!

Directions:
Remove metal hinges and clasp closure from box
Paint entire box with Sweet Pea acrylic paint and set aside to dry
used stencil and randomly sponge checkerboard on with Lavender acrylic paint
Stamp 10 each of Royal Teapot, Queen Teapot, and kettle On  in black ink on tissue paper
trim images and apply to box with Fast Finish Decoupage
Stamp King Teapot on tissue with black ink
Stamp out Tea Time using Vintage letters with black ink
Adhere to inside lid of box with Fast Finish Decoupage
Randomly stamp Flourish from the Jumbo Peruvian Lily set on the box with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Silver Tinsel Embossing powder
While image is still warm press Glitter glass into embossed image
Stamp King Teapot on a Heather cardstock panel with VersaMark ink
Cover image with Detail Black embossing powder
brush off parts of the tea pot and then cover those parts with Silver Tinsel Embossing powder
heat entire image until melted
Back image with a black die cut panel
Adhere to box with Beacon Fast Finish Decoupage
emboss metal pieces with Silver Tinsel embossing powder and then reattach to box.

Here is the inside:

Here it is all filled up with tea bags!
