Butterfly Charms Sneak Peek

You may have seen this box on display in Vegas or on the Stampendous Blog but it's the first time I have shared it on my blog!

I created this box for a catalog sample for the new Butterfly Charms Perfectly Clear Stamp set by Stampendous. I just love how it turned out!

It started as a brown paper mache box.
I painted it, stamped it, decoupaged it, and finished it off with a little glitter and embossing.

I started by painting the box with Robin's Egg Blue acrylic paint.
Then I sponged on Tim Holtz Distress Ink to age it a little.
I stamped the postage images on the box with memento ink.

I stamped the butterflies on tissue paper with memento ink and colored them with Copic markers.
Then I cut out the butterflies and adhered them with Beacon Fast Finish.

For a final touch I sprinkled Chunky White Embossing Enamel, Aged Gold Embossing Enamel, and Gold Halo Glitter Mix and heated it from underneath until it melted.

Supplies:
SSC1777 Butterfly Charms
FREG021 Chunky White Embossing Enamel
FREG024 Aged Gold Embossing Enamel
FRG04 Gold Halo Glitter Mix
Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink, Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge Distress Ink
Copic Markers
Tissue Paper, Darice Paper Mache Box
Craftsmart Robins Egg Blue Acrylic Paint
Other stuff like brads, ribbon, etc
Heat Tool, sponge
Beacon Fast Finish Decoupage

Thanks for stopping by!
