Side Spring Card

Hi There!

Today I have a pretty Side Spring card to share with you that I made with the March Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month-Friends Make the best Accesories In addition to the Friends make the best Accesories Creative Cafe' Kit, I used the add on stamp set, Botique Chic, Scrap Happy Glue, memento ink, copic markers, and Spellbinders Dies.

Here is my Side Spring card that I made with this months adorable kit.

To make this card start by cutting a piece of the Bazzil White Swirl embossed cardstock in half to create a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" panel.

Sponge Antique Linen ink on the cardstock to give it a more vintage look.

Flip the panel over and score the panel at 2 3/4" and 4" on the short side.

Turn the panel 90 degrees and score at 2 3/4"

With the shorter score side to your left score from the top right corner to the bottom left corner of the smaller section.

Work the score lines so that your card looks like this.

Then fold the left panel to the right over the front of the card so it looks like this

sponge a little Antique linen ink on the lower left corner so it matches the card front.

Now we are ready to decorate!

Decorate the inside.  I adhered a thin strip of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the inside panel.  Then I stamped the sentiment on a pink oval die cut panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

Die cut a scallop edge square panel from patterned paper and adhere to the card.
Die cut a square panel from the Vanilla cardstock. Stamp the dress form on the panel and add the sticker words.  Sponge pink ink on the edges of the panel and then adhere to card.

Adhere pink cardstock and flowered paper to the card front.

Stamp the "fabulous" sentiment on the patterned paper with black ink.  Stamp the perfume bottle on a scrap of pink cardstock, cut it out, and adhere to card.

Stamp the flower image on a scrap of vanilla paper and color with copic markers before fussy cutting it out.  Color flowers to match the flower image that you colored.

To create the smaller flowers, slide the green part off the bottom of the flower and then remove one or two layers of white until your flower is the size you want.

To complete the card adhere the flower image and the colored flowers to the card.
Adhere the pink bling to the scallops.

I hope you've enjoyed today's Side Spring card!  Thanks for stopping by!
