An Owl to die for

Today is the final Dreamweaver "to die for" challenges.
All month long the team has been sharing their amazing projects using Dreamweaver dies.

My project today showcases one of the newest dies, DG791 Nesting Owls.

I took pictures during each of the steps of making this card but I dropped my laptop earlier this week and now it is in a continuous loop of trying to find the operating system so I can't access any of the pictures I took.  Luckily I still had this card so I took some more pictures of it for today's post!

I stenciled the LL3039 Owl Buddy on a panel of patterned graph paper with silver embossing paste.  While it was still sticky I die cut grey patterned paper with Nesting Owls and pieced the die cut pieces on to the panel.  I stenciled the sentiment with L96 Hello.  Both panels were cut out with  DD001 Nesting Frames.

Darling card and I really like your choice of the pattern papers pieced on the owl! Ugh, too bad about dropping your laptop...who needs that whilst in the midst of a deadline!

Cute! I like the lack of color, and the patterns you used for the owl.

Great project...your monochromatic color palette looks amazing with your grid patter. UGH...dropping your laptop...horrific!

I really hate that you dropped your laptop, what a nightmare! I haven't dropped one but if you recall, my old laptop crashed twice! What a mess! Anyway, I am loving the grayscale card! It's a very cool look and rather unexpected. I love it!

I'm really enjoying seeing the paper piecing with this owl buddy design. And the grays are wonderful... that would be a great challenge!

I like the b&w of this card. It is quite unexpected. Sorry about your lap top. I hope you can get it working again.
