Mermaid Triangle Card

The new Rubber Cafe' Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month is out and I LOVE it!!!

Today I have a  fun Triangle Fun Fold Card to share with you.
I made it with the July Creative Cafe' Kit - Under the Sea.  This is a terrific kit for all those summer cards and today I used it for a fun triangle fun fold card.

Here's how it looks when it's all folded up and ready to mail.

Here's a look at how it unfolds.

To make this card, start with a 3 1/2" x 10 1/2" panel of cardstock.
Score at 3 1/2" and at 7". Then on the first and third panel score diagonally as shown in the picture.

Fold on the score lines.

It will fold flat like this.

Add patterned paper panels to the card base with Scrap Happy Glue.

For the front panel stamp the coral and the sentiment on a 3" square white panel of cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink.

Create a "mask" by stamping the coral on a post it note and cutting them out.  Then adhere on to the white panel, covering up the stamped coral.

Stamp the Mermaid with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink on the panel as shown.

Remove the post it note mask and you'll be left with this.

Use the same masking technique to stamp the inside panel.

Color the images with copic markers.  Back with a larger blue panel and the adhere to the patterned paper triangle to create the front of the card with Scrap Happy Glue.

Color the inside panel with Copic Markers and back with a larger red panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with Scrap Happy Glue.

Here's a another look at how the completed card should look before you fold it and tie the ribbon into a bow.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!
