CAS Christmas

It's hard to believe it but yes...Christmas will be here before you know it so it is time to start on those Christmas Cards!

For many years we have sent photo cards out but I always like to have a few hand made cards on hand for attaching to a gift or giving to someone like the postman or hairdresser that don't necessarily appreciate all the pics of my family!

Here is a quick and easy card that I made to have on hand using the Oh Christmas Tree Stamp from Stampendous.

I started by sprinkling some Aged Gold, embossing enamel and some Halo Glitter on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Kraft cardstock and heated it from underneath to melt it.  Then I adhered it to a top folding 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" green card base.

I stamped the Oh Christmas Tree image on a smaller Kraft panel with green ink and then backed it with a slightly larger green panel before adhering it to the card.

The final touch was the red plaid ribbon from Hobby Lobby.
See...quick and easy!

Check the Stampendous Blog later this week because the rest of the ladies on the design team will be sharing their CAS Christmas cards all week long!

Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous card! The Gold Embossing and Halo Glitter look fabulous and such an easy way to add bling on plain paper. Thank you for sharing this week!
