Special Spellbinders Gift Set

Stampendous is excited, once again, to be partnering with the folks over at Spellbinders for a Spring mini blog hop! As Spellbinders design partners this year, we’ve been blessed to use many of their exciting products, and we know their design team is enjoying the Stampendous products we sent for their use!

Spellbinders has fantastic prize packages from all of their partners to give away each day, so be sure to visit their blog and use their contest entry tool to enter each day (one entry per day, per person). See the Spellbinders Blog for rules and a list Product Partner companies.

For my project I created a beautiful birthday gift in the perfect box.

To create the box I started by cutting two 4" x 4 1/2" panels of white cardstock.
I scored the panels all the way around the edges 1/2" from the edge.

Then I cut each of the corners so that I could fold the panel and create the box.

Here are the top and the bottom of the box.

Die cut the largest size of out of Spellbinders Labels39 from white cardstock.

To decorate the panel I embossed Penned Happy Birthday in the corner with Detail white embossing powder.  Then I sponged Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink all over the panel.
I scribbled Pistachio Gelato on my craft mat and sprayed with water.  Then I used my finger to pick it up and spread through the Graduated Dot Stencil.  It smeared a little but I liked it so I left it!
I stamped the words from Vintage Ladies Perfectly Clear Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I glued the panel to one of the box halves to create the box top.

I finished off the box top with Spellbinders Die D-Lites Cherry Blossoms dies.
Directions to create these flowers can be found here.

Here is the beautiful necklace that goes inside the box.
I used Gilded Life Heart Bezel for my pendant.I stamped images from Vintage Ladies Perfectly Clear Stamps on the inside.
I added a little Multi Ultra Fine Glitter and then sealed with Enviro Tex Resin.

I hope you enjoyed my project today.

Here are some more great projects!
