Let Freedom Ring

I have been having so much fun with the June Creative Cafe Kit of the Month from The Rubber Cafe'!

This month's kit is called Home of the Red, White, and Blue and it is full of fun, festive, Patriotic images, papers, and embellishments.  I am in love with every card that I've made and I can't wait to share them all with you this month!

Here is my first one.
I don't know if this style card has an actual name but it's a really neat "fun fold" card style that I just love creating!

To make this card start by scoring an 11" x 4 1/4" panel of card stock at 4 1/4" by 8 1/2".

Set a Classic Oval die on the 4 1/4" score line and run through the die cut machine half way.

Flip over the panel and adhere a 1/2" strip of flowered patterned paper to the edge of the  panel with Scrap Happy Glue.

Fold up the lower edge of the card and adhere paper panels with Scrap Happy Glue.

When it's folded up it looks like this.

Stamp the girl on a white oval die cut panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color with copic markers.  Back with red and white die cut panels and adhere to card with Scrap Happy Glue.

Adhere the flag embellishment with Scrap Happy Glue.

Flip up the top and it looks like this.

Flip down the next panel and decorate the inside panel.

I hope you enjoyed today's Creative Cafe' Kit card!

Thanks for stopping by!
