NK Studio Fiesta Frame

I made this frame last year when these Nathalie Kalbach stamps were released by Stampendous but I hadn't posted it on my blog yet so since the Stampendous team are sharing their NK projects this week I thought I'd share mine.

I just love altering these inexpensive wood frames.
You can get them for a $1 or 2 at most major craft stores.

This picture was taken at my daughters wedding and my friends dress reminded me of these stamps and was the inspiration for my project.

It's a pretty quick and simple project!

  • Paint frame with teal acrylic paint and allow to dry
  • Stamp Fiesta images on frame with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Detail Black embossing powder
  • Randomly sprinkle spoonful of silver embossing elements and heat until melted

  • Here's what I used:

    From Stampendous:
    NKCRS04 Cling Fiesta Set
    VersaMark Ink by Tsukineko®
SSH57 Jumbo Perfectly Clear™ Acrylic Handle
    EJS01 Spoonful of Silver
    DP111 Detail Black Embossing Powder
    Plus:
    Deco Art Arylic Paint
    Art Minds unfinished wood frame
    Heat Tool
