Canvas Corp Meets Stampendous!

The Stampendous Team is collaborating with Canvas Corp and the results are AMAZING!

All week long the team will be sharing projects made with Canvas Corp canvas bags.

Here is the altered canvas bag that I created for the hop.
It's the perfect little bag to carry your cell phone, mints, and a little cash!

I started with a Small Shoulder Bag.
I carefully removed the strap before I began altering it.

I stenciled Dreamweaver Opto Checkerboard Stencil on the bag with Olive Chalk ink and heat set it with an iron.

Then I stenciled the Black Eyed Susan Stencil with Regular Embossing Paste and let it dry.

I folded over the top of the bag and painted it with Deco Art Raw Sienna Acrylic Paint and let it dry.

I sewed on buttons from Buttons Galore.
OH...and that cute flower?
I stamped a flower from the Daisy Mix Stamp Set on yellow felt and die cut it out with the matching die set.

Here's a closer look...

and an even closer look....

So that's what I did with my bag...but I've seen some of the others and they are AMAZING!
Check the Stampendous blog all week long to see who is sharing.
