Christmas Tag Card

Today I have a fun Christmas Tag Card to share with you.

I started with a die cut Slash Pocket with Tag from Creative Cuts and More. 

I stamped this image from Mulberry Wood-Wish Upon a Star. on a white panel in black Memento Ink and colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers.

Then I trimmed the panel down to fit the front of the card. 
 

I left the tag blank so I could write on it.

I love this die cut Slash Pocket with Tag from Creative Cuts and More because it allows you to make a unique card that looks like it took a lot of time.  You can find more tag cards HERE.

A Christmas Wish for You

I am very excited to announce that the Spectrum Noir Blog now has a monthly challenge!

It actually started last Saturday but this is my first chance to let you all know about it!  Each month's challenge will run from the 15th the month to the 15th of the next month.

The first challenge is to make a holiday card colored with Spectrum Noir Markers, of course!

It can be ANY holiday you want but I chose Christmas because I had this adorable Mulberry Woods image all ready colored and just begging to be put on a card!

How perfect are those Holiday light brads from EyeLet Outlet?

When I first got this stamp I knew I would be using those cute brads.  I strung them together with black embroidery floss.

Mulberry Wood's Snow Day

There was a little chill in the air when we walked the dogs this morning which gives me hope that cooler weather is coming!  We don't get snow in my part of the state but this card makes me feel a little cooler and that adorable snowman makes me smile!

I used one of the newest releases from Mulberry Wood-Sledging by from Crafters Companion.

 

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

The falling "snow" was painted with Tulip puffy paint and the snow on the ground is Shabby White Embossing Enamel by Stampendous.

I'll probably send this one to my son this winter.  He is going to college in NY and after growing up in sunny Southern California is in for a shock when the snow starts to fall :)
