More Sandra Kuck

My DD, Tyler, has been attending the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band Jazz Camp all week. Last night we got to see the Big Phat band perform LIVE! They don't do too many live performances so it was a real treat....THEY ARE AMAZING!!! Today it's time for the kids to perform. They've been working and learning in their assigned bands all week and have a concert today. Looking forward to hearing what the kids have learned!

Before we take off I wanted to share another card with you that I made with The Prayer, which was released yesterday. One of the things that I love about these finely detailed images is how good they look even with out color!

Challenge Chicks #14-Krylon Leafing Pens

Today's CHF Challenge is to make a project using the Krylon Leafing which have been on special at the store for the last couple of weeks.   These pens create beautiful results and they are easy to use!  This card is only two layers!  all the faux lines and layers were created with a ruler and a Krylon Gold Leafing Pen.  The Sandra Kuck,  Ready for Christmas Image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with stumps and OMS and the sentiment was embossed with gold EP.  I created the gold dew drops by coloring some clear dew drops that I had with the leafing pen too!

There are a lot of the CHF Chicks playing today so have fun blog hopping!

Ready for Christmas???

You're not???? Well, don't feel bad, I am just getting into the swing of summer vacation and am no where near Ready for Christmas but that is the name of the newest Sandra Kuck image which is being released this Friday, July 4th! I am just loving these beautiful little girls. Here's a peak at a couple of cards that I have made with this new image.

This one was made with an acrylic cardstock base and the image was colored with copic markers. The sentiment is a way early look at a new Mona Lisa's moments release, Christmas Expressions (July 10th!).

The Sandra Kuck images are similar to the Thomas Kinkade line in that they are very detailed so when you color them you don't have to color in the details-they just POP when you add color. But even with out color these images look terrific! Here's a card I made with out adding color to the image. The sentiment is another one from the Christmas Expressions set being released on the 10th!
