Today's card was inspired by the new Cardabilities Sketch and this months inspiration challenge over on the In Style Stamps blog! I love when I can do a 2fer!
The In Style Stamps inspiration challenge is to be inspired by a favorite Childrens book. As you know my daughter moved to college on Monday and my boy is a junior in high school so it's been a while since I looked at the old kids books but I have a box in the closet of the kids and my favorites that I am saving to read to my grandchildren some day!
When I opened the box for some inspiration I found that nearly half of them were Dr. Suess books! I think everyone loves the bright colors and kooky characters in his books-right? I couldn't pick just one but was inspired by the colors and whimsy of all of them!
Here is my card that these books inspired.
The image is "Chirpin' Love" and will be available on Friday from In Style Stamps. I added some glitter on the hearts and on the bird which looks a little strange in the picture but in real life it looks good!
Thanks for stopping by!
Kristine

Great job! I was thinking of using this image with "The Best Nest" (one of the Beginning Readers/ Dr S. books)
Such a colorful, fun card! I am just now packing up the Dr. Seuss books for posterity.. brings a tear to my eye knowing the kids are so beyond them now. I kept a couple out just for old times' sake, LOL! Great inspiration!
