Warm Greetings

The new Cornish Heritage Farms Blog challenge is to use a Thomas Kinkade image!
I love my Thomas Kinkade stamps but I am so busy with all my Christmas prep that I really did not have time to sit and carefully color one of these beautiful images.

So...here is the card that I made for the challenge with very little coloring!

I used The Night Before Christmas image for this card.
Here's what it looks like when it's closed up and ready to mail.

I used the new Stitch Circle and  Diezyne Half Circle Dies for my card.
I stamped the image in blue ink and colored the windows with copic markers.

The sentiment is from Script Essential Expressions.

Check out the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog for the links to the rest of the team and to learn more about the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

Storybook Inspiration

It's time for another Cornish Heritage Farms blog Challenge!

Kelly has challenged us, and you, to create a card based on your favorite storybook character.

I couldn't really think of a favorite storybook character but this Thomas Kinkade image has always reminded me of a fairytale!

I'm sure that this is where all of the storybook princesses lived!

This is Guardian Castle.
I colored the image with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from the Script Essential Expressions set.

Check out the Cornish Heritage Farms blog to learn more about this weeks challenge and to get the link list for the rest of the design team.

Thanks for stopping by!

C4C43: Thomas Kinkade's Birthday Card

Thomas Kinkade's birthday would have been the 19th of January, (January 19, 1958 – April 6, 2012) so to celebrate his birthday, our new challenge is to use our Thomas Kinkade stamps this week.

I made a birthday card with a Rectangle Flip it card and  The Light of Peace.

When you "flip it" this is what you see on the back side of the card.

Want to play along???

If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!

To play create a card using CHF images. You can use either CHF digi or rubber stamps to create a card or project.... anything you like as long as the stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms. (Yes, they can be older stamps).

Once you have created your card/project come back here and use inlinkz to link to your card/project so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to Splitcoast Stampers please use the keyword CHF43. We can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!

I colored the image with copic markers.
Here's a closer look at the image.

Coloring Foxglove Cottage with Prisma Pencils Part 1

Hi All!

Does this card look familiar?

I posted this card on Mother's Day and at the time I promised you all that I would do a coloring tutorial.  It took a while but I finally got it done!  It actually turned into a three part tutorial because it took me an hour to color the image and I thought I would spare you from that long of a video :)

So...here is part one!

Stop by Next Sunday for Part 2 of the video!

Happy coloring!
