Just a guitar note

I just have a quick post today. I didn't have much time to stamp over the weekend because we spent Saturday driving up to pick up Garret from Summer Camp and then most of Sunday I was cleaning house, doing laundry, and getting packed for my trip to Missouri.

This is one of the cards I made a few weeks ago for my application to be on the Some Odd Girl Design Team. I haven't heard anything so I am assuming that I didn't make it on the team but I still like how this card turned out!

Tomorrow I'll have my last challenge card for The Rubber Cafe design team challenges here. I hope you'll stop by to see it!

Dare to Get Dirty has started!

If you are a "fan" at Splitcoast Stampers, you know what I'm talking about. If you're not, why not? Ever since I started stamping SCS has been a huge source of inspiration, education, and reguvination. It's a fabulous site and I believe in helping to support it by being a "fan". One of the rewards for being in the fan club is the once a year Dirty Girl Challenges. For me it's like a week long Virtual Stamp Night. Lot's of fun challenges to get your mojo flowing! So yesterday I had a chance to play in a couple of the challenges that I'll share with you today. ENJOY!

First was a sketch challenge. Loved it so much I made TWO!

This image is a digi from Mo's digital pencil.

This image is a freebie this month from Some Odd girl.

The "TV Dinner challenge was to create a card inspired by a television show. I don't suppose I need to tell you which show this "wonder woman" card was inspired by, do I?

The image is a digi called "Supermom" from In Style Stamps.

The last card I have to show you is a CAS card. (Clean and Simple). This was made for a challenge to "Embrace the white space". Not an easy thing for me to do as I tend to fill all the "white space" on my cards but it was a fun challenge.

The sentiment is from TPC greetings set and the flower is from Stampendous "April Showers Flowers".

Well...hopefully, all these cards got you inspired to go check out the happenings at SCS and if you're not a fan club member...JOIN!

Birthday Surfer

Ahhhh....the weekend is here! Hubby all ready left to golf this morning so I am posting quickly so I can go stamp! I made this card for my son's friends birthday this week. I kept the front fairly simply because I am sure that like most 16 year old boys this one is headed for the circular file pretty quickly!
The image is Some Odd Girl. I picked this image up for free last month. If you haven't taken the digital image plunge yet go grab this month's "freebie" and play!

The cool part of this card is the inside!

The inside was die cut with the Look Here Sizzix die. It's only available through Stampin Up right now. I don't own it yet but my friend is a demo and she cut me a few samples. I want to see how much I use these inserts before I buy it as it's pretty pricey!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start! I am off to stamp!
