Peacock Feather Card Set

Happy Sunday!!!

I hope you are having a terrific weekend so far. I have a fun card set to share with you todaythat I made for my Blogstar gig on the Stampendous Blog!


I started with a Card Portfolio from Creative Cuts & More and then filled it with four matching cards and envelopes for an easy thoughtful gift.

Stamps: N030-Peacock Feather by Stampendous R105-Dream Text by Stampendous Paper: Bazzill Prismatic Cardstock (Baby Blue Dark & Black) Neenah White Cardstock Card Portfolio die cut from Creative Cuts & More Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink by Tsukineko Versamark Watermark ink by Tsukineko Copic Marker (BG04) Other: EP111-R Midnight Black Embossing Powder Silver Brads Dots & Dashes polka dot ribbon Instructions: To create the front of the folio box and the front of the cards: 1) Stamp Dream Text on a 3.75" x 5" white panel in black ink. 2) Ink Peacock Feather with watermark ink and emboss with Midnight Black embossing powder. 3) Color the center of the Peacock Feather with a marker 4) Adhere a thin blue strip to a thicker black strip and adhere it to the left of the stamped featherl. 5) Back the stamped panel with a slightly larger black panel and then adhere to a blue card. 6) Insert three brads along the blue strip as show in the picture. 7) To create coordinating envelopes stamp the Peacock Feather on envelopes in black ink and color the centers with blue marker. The card folio comes all ready cut out from Creative Cuts & More so you just need to put it together. Add the ribbon and decorate the front as if it is the front of one of the cards. This is a quick and simple gift perfect for that someone special in your life!
