High Hopes Winter Wonderland Challenge

Back to Work!!!

Well...at least for me!  I was off the last two weeks and have really enjoyed my time to stamp and hang with my kids.  But I am going back to work today so my stamping time will be curbed.  I was able to get way ahead on a lot of projects the last two weeks and had some time to stamp for fun too!  I hope you had time to get inky as well.

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the latest High Hopes Blog Challenge:

Winter Wonderland

Here's a side view so you can see his popped up hat.  The popped up hat wasn't in my original plan but I had an oops while coloring and had to find a fix.

I had just refilled my copic markers before coloring this image and my green was really wet!  When I went to color the spots on Snowy's hat a big blob dripped on the image.  ARGH!!!
I dried it with a tissue and tried to use my clear copic to clean it up but it was just too much ink in a small spot.

So....I stamped the hat on a white scrap and colored it before cutting it out and covering my mistake with a new hat!

If I hadn't told you you would not have know but I wanted to show you how every "mistake" is an opportunity to challenge yourself to do something different or make an improvement!  So...don't throw it out...figure out how to fix it!
