Resin Jewelry

My High Hopes Challenge Card is in the post below this one!

This post is another fun  Envirotex  and Stampendous Impressions
collaboration project.

This week  Envirotex  and Stampendous Impressions  are teaming up to bring you some fun, creative projects!!!  I posted my first project on my blog yesterday.

There are so many possibilities with this amazing product!
All week long members of the Stampendous Design Team will be sharing what they created with you and it will all end on Saturday with a fun Hop!

Envirotex sent me this cool bezel to work with.
I LOVE how it turned out.

A bezel is a blank slate.  This one was all gold colored.  I cut a piece of white card stock to a size that would fit inside the frame of the bezel.  Then I stamped the flowers from the Charm Collections Clear Stamp set by Stampendous.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and then rubbed the edges of the panel on a pad of VersaMark ink and embossed it with Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  I also sprinkled on some winter white embossing powder and heated it till it melted.  You can see it on the left hand side on the flowers.

Then I glued the panel on to the bezel and painted two coats of glue over the top of the panel letting the glue dry between applications.

After that I mixed the resin and poured it over the top until the bezel was slightly overfilled.
It was hard to get a good picture but when it dries it looks like it's covered in a glass bubble...so pretty!

You can see more great projects today on these blogs:

Beautiful! I love the simplicity of your design. I don't care for all the glitter and the added attractions to the bezel. Yours, I LOVE. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I love your rendition of the resin jewellery. The simplicity is elegant. A bit of colour and a beautiful design are perfect. Great work.
