Core-dinations meets Stampendous meets CC&M

Sometimes several of my design team commitments land on the same day.

Today was one of those days and I don't like to have multiple blog posts on the same day so I decided to combine my Creative Cuts project with my Core-dinations/Stampendous post.

Here's what I came up with!

I started by assembling a black Tall Gable Box die cut from Creative Cuts and More.

I embossed a panel of Papaya core-dinations card stock with my Sizzix Pocket Watches embossing folder.  I used my Core-dinations sanding block to knock off the color on the raised parts.  Then I sponged on Black Soot Distress ink before adhering the papaya panel to the box.

I used Beacon Zip Dry paper glue to glue on Trick or Treat Color Fragments.
I stamped Cling Halloween Magic on a piece of smooth white cardstock and colored it with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

These are the colors that I used:
 Hair: TN7-TN5-TN3-TN2
Dress: TN3-GB7-GB4-CT3-CT2
Greys: BG6-BG4-BG2
 Skin: TN2-TN1-EB1
and...I used some detail gold embossing powder on the watch and gear.

The fabulous ribbon is May Arts!

I am in love with this box!  It would be great to fill it with candy and give as a little gift to a friend but I don't think I can part with it so I think I'll leave it on my shelf and let my friend visit it :)

There is more Core-dinations/Stampendous inspiration on these blogs:

Thanks for stopping by!

This treat box is so wonderful. Actually you wouldn't need to put treats in it because it's a gift in itself. I love the colors, the image and the sparkle and the great big bow!
