Mother's Day will be here before you know it so today I made a card that would be perfect for any of the wonderful Mom's in your life!
I am so excited that Melissa is carrying the fabulous new Fran•táge Encrusted Jewel Kits by Stampendous. I used the pink kit on this card.
I started with a 5 x 5 panel of Pugnacious Signature white cardstock. I stamped Mom from the Give Momma Some Love set multiple times in pink ink. Next I stamped the Wild Rose image with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye ink and quickly colored it in with Copic markers.
I randomly sprinkled Aged Rose Embossing Enamel, Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel, and Champagne Glitter glass (from the Fran•táge Encrusted Jewel Pink Kit) around the edges of the panel. Then I heated it from underneath to melt it all together.
NOTE: if you try to heat from the top you will blow most of the powders away before they melt.
Here's a closer look at that crusty yumminess.
Then I started creating the layers for my 3D Rose.
I stamped the Wild Rose on Pugnacious Signature white cardstock, colored it with copic markers and fussy cut it out.
Then I attached it to the card front.
This is the second layer.
I didn't color the whole image because I am going to fussy cut just the part that is colored.
I cut out the second layer and attached it to the card with 3D Foam Squares.
The final step is the center of the Rose.
Here's a close up of the Rose after I fussy cut the final piece and attached it to the Rose with 3D Foam Squares.
Here is another look at the card.
And I finished the inside with more of the sentiments from Give Momma Some Love.
I hope you enjoyed today's card!
Thanks for stopping by!
