Stampendous/EnviroTex Final Day

Today is the final day of the Stampendous/EnviroTex week long collaboration and we are celebrating with one big final hop with the teams!

I finally got up the nerve to play with the new clay and I am hooked!
Here is the first project I made...a beautiful Art Deco Pendant:

The first step in making my pendant was to pick an image.  I lay my Ranger Memory Frame over the top of several stamps until I found one that I liked.

I mixed together my EnviroTex Jewelry Clay and rolled it out on the table.

I stamped the image with Stazon ink and then cut it out the size of my frame.

I placed a piece of memory glass in the frame and then lay the stamped clay in the frame.
I pressed lightly to seal it along the edges of the frame.

I painted Perfect Pearls on to the image.

Then I pressed in a few bangles and crystals and set it aside to dry.

24 hours later it was totally cured and I could have left it like that but I decided to paint on a layer of resin so that it had a shiny finish.

I had a little extra clay after making the pendant so I rolled it out and stamped the small butterfly from the Jumbo Butterfly Trio set to create another piece of jewelry.

I thought I took more pic's while I was making this but I can't find them....
So basically I stamped the butterfly with black stazon and then trimmed around the shape.
I painted it with the perfect pearls and added Silver Halo Glitter to the edges of the wings.

Then I laid it on a bottle of rubbing alcohol I had to give it a little curve.

24 hours later I painted a layer of resin on it so it would be glossy.
And then...24 hours later I had a beautiful pendant.

If you haven't tried these fabulous products from EnviroTex, I highly recommend them.  They seem a little scary at first but they are easy to use and you will LOVE the results.
