Grape Tag Tutorial

I made this tag a while ago but never shared it on my blog so I thought I would do so today!

I made this tag using Jumbo Grapes by Stampendous.

If you haven't purchased any of the Jumbo Stamps from Stampendous yet you may not be aware that all of the newer ones come with a plastic stencil/mask that coordinates with the stamps.
This is the one that came with the
Jumbo Grapes.

Before punching the pieces out, I recommend labeling them with a sharpie.  It makes it quicker to figure out which way they go when you are working with them AND it makes it much easier to find them when they are laying on your workspace or have fallen on the floor!

Instructions:
Stamp leaves on tag with black ink

Mask leaves with the plastic mask that came in the stamp set and stamp grapes with black ink

Mask grapes.
Use Brush Stix to apply lulu lavender, grape, and pear tart ink on tag.

Cover with VersaMark ink and emboss with Kaleideoscope embossing powder
Remove masks

color grapes and leaves with markers
stamp swirl image with VersaMarker and emboss with embossing powder
randomly sprinkle elements from purple encrusted jewel kit on the tag and heat from underneath till melted.
tie ribbons on to tag

Ta Da!!!

Suppy List:
CRS5059 Jumbo Grapes
DP102 Detail Gold embossing powder
EP030 Kaleidoscope Embossing Powder
EJK04 Encrusted Jewel Purple Kit
Memento Tuxedo Black, Lulu Lavender, Grape Jelly, Pear Tart, Versamark by Tsukineko
manila tag
Brush Stix by Imagine Crafts
Celebrate it ribbon, Offray ribbon

I hope you liked today's project and enjoyed the step by step tutorial!

Love this tag. The new way of providing masking templates with the stamps is so wonderful. I really like using them. Love your tag and its complexity.
