I can't believe that May is almost over!
The Dreamweaver Stencils Dream Team have been challenging you this month to a "Flora and Fauna" theme!
Considering most of the Dreamweaver designs incorporate both of these in the huge variety of stencils, you should have no problem playing along with our challenge this month! As usual, link your creations at the end of the Dream It Up! blog post, or at the end of our posts where it says, "Add Your Link". As the challenge gets underway, you'll see thumbnails of others who are playing along as inspirations for your own creations!
Here is another card that I created for this months challenge:
I stenciled with Black Matte embossing paste on to light blue cardstock and let it dry.
Then I replaced the stencil back over the image and lightly sponged Stamp and Stick on the image before applying Metallic F/X to the stenciled image with a brush.
The texture on the flower and vine was a happy accident!
I completed the coloring and wanted to cut the image smaller so I ran it through my Big Shot with a rectangle die and it picked up some micro paper scraps....and I liked how it looked so I left it!
Stencils used:
Amber Glow
Kiwi
Ivy GardenPlum Royale

What a wonderful 'happy accident' Kristine! The colors are gorgeous and I'll bet look even more stunning in person. This is a lovely card design.
Your "happy accident" is wonderful and I'm thinking I should sprinkle flecks on my Big Shot so I can achieve that look too! It's a beautiful project and wonderfully colored!
Really pretty! I love "happy accidents!" Sometimes they become my favorite new techniques. Beautiful project.
Very interesting stencil and card. The coloring is great.
I'm with Lynn on the flecks! Just beautiful!
So beautiful. I have such a thing for Art Nouveau. And such a happy accident with the paper flecks. They look like you put them there on purpose and are perfect.
Kristine this card is really lovely, great happy accident
Yes, the added effect at the end was neat...so do you think we could repeat that if we tried? I'd love to give it a go.
This turned out very pretty! Love the happy accident.
