Deco Art painted Background

  2014_06_decoart

Our great friends at DecoArt , Princeton Brushes, and inspired by Willow Wolfe are joining with us this week to show you what you can do with stamps and acrylic paint! You'll be amazed how these simple craft items make amazing things! Artists from all over the world will be playing with Stampendous, DecoArt, and Princeton. Prepare to be amazed!

My first project is card with a beautiful background that I created with Deco Art paint and my Creative Palette.

Instructions:
Add drops of paint to the creative palette and spread with a brayer
stamp Geo Blossom stamp on to palette to lift the paint and leave a design
Lay a panel of white cardstock on the palette and press to create a mono print design on the paper
when dry back panel with a slightly larger green panel and then adhere to purple card.
adhere white strip of cardstock to card and stamp sentiment on the right side of the strip with blackink
stamp flower, leaves, and butterfly on white cardstock with black ink and color
cut out images with dies and adhere to card
Randomly sprinkle embossing enamel, embossing powder, and glass glitter on card and heat from underneath until melted.

Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink
Copic markers (V02-V15-V12-Y06-Y15_yg00-yg01-yg03-B910B93)
Americana Acryic Paints (Apple Green, Sky Blue, Lavender Fields)
Bazzill Basic colored cardstock, Mohawk Bright White
Heat tool, Creative Palette, Brayer

A few of the bloggers this week are new to hopping, so if you have an issue with any of the links, here's a little tip! If you get a page that says "Sorry that Page is not here" or something similar, try clicking on the header of the blog, or look for something that says Home. The hop page should be near the top of the day's posts. We will fix broken links as the day goes on, as well, so check back here if you are really lost.
