I cheated a little bit for this weeks challenge!
I created this color for my final Cardmaker Blog post but this is the first chance I've had to post it on my blog so I thought I'd let it do double duty for today's challenge card!
This is my Sparkly Party Invite.
I created this color for my final Cardmaker Blog post but this is the first chance I've had to post it on my blog so I thought I'd let it do double duty for today's challenge card!
This is my Sparkly Party Invite.
This was a fun and easy card to make using the Double
Glitter Technique!
I adhered a piece of double sided paper to a white
panel. After covering the back of the
stencil with mineral soap I lay it down on the panel. Then I sprinkled the blue, red, and gold
glitter over the openings and burnished it to set it.
I carefully lifted the stencil off the panel and then
sprinkled the entire panel with clear glitter.
For the finished card I adhered the glittery panel to a
slightly larger red panel and then to a blue card.
I stamped the sentiment on a piece of clear acetate with
Staz on ink and attached it to the card with staples.
Fun, easy and perfect for the updoming holidays!
Supplies:
Stamps: WeRMemoryKeepers #41826-9
You’re so fine glitter from The Rubber CafĂ© (Diamond Clear
Cool Highlight, Canadian Blue, Gold Metal, Patriotic Red)
