Creative Cafe' Halloween Fun Fold Card

I finally had some time to play with this months Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month from The Rubber Cafe'.

It's a super fun Halloween kit with two optional add on stamp sets.

For today's card I used the Too Cute to Spook stamp set along with the Halloween Traditions set that comes with this months kit.

Of course I made a fun fold card with my kit.  This is a new fold that I had never used before.  I saw the 5 x 7 version on Pinterest but worked to figure out how to make it fold down to a standard A2 size.

Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock.  I used purple.

Cut on the two solid horizontal lines and fold on the vertical dotted lines.

You'll end up with this.

You can see that I was still experimenting and have a couple mistake folds in there...but I covered them with patterned paper and you can't even tell in the finished card!

Cover the card base by adhering patterned paper with Scrap Happy Glue.

Stamp the web and spiders on a 2 1/2" square panel of card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Sponge Grape Jelly Memento ink around the edges and backed it with a slightly larger orange panel.

Stamp the dog image on a white scrap and color with Copic Markers.

Cut out the dog image and adhere to card with 3D Foam Squares.

Stamp the sentiment with Tangelo Memento ink.

Cut into flag tag shape and back with slightly larger orange panel.

Adhere to card with Scrap Happy Glue and finish with bling from the kit.

Here's a closer look at the details on the front.

Simply stamp the dog on a white scrap and color with Copic Markers.

Cut out the dog image and adhere to card with 3D Foam Squares.

Stamp the sentiment with Grape Jelly Memento ink and die cut with dies. (I used Spellbinder oval dies)

Adhere the sentiment panel to the card with Scrap Happy Glue and finish with bling from the kit.

The final touch for this card is to tie on a piece of orange ribbon from the kit!

I just love how this card turned out and hope you do too!
