Sunday means that it's time to share another fun card that I've made with this months Rubber Cafe' Creative Card Kit!
Today I have a fun "Diagonal swing front card" to share with you that I made with The Rubber Cafe' October Kit of the Month, "Christmas behind the scenes".
I used the add on stamp kit, "Santa's Workshop", Scrap Happy Glue, memento ink, copic markers, and Score Tape.
Here is a look at the front of the Card. Keep scrolling down for step by step instructions to create one on your own.
Here is the inside.
To create the front diagonal flap, cut a 4 1/4" wide white panel and a 4" patterned paper panel. Cut the diagonal top on the two panels.
Score the long edge of the white panel.
Adhere the patterned paper panel to the 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" tree panel with Score Tape.
Here's how it will look on the front.
Here's how it will look on the back.
Adhere the panel to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of green cardstock.
Create a tag and stamp "Merry Christmas" on it.
Tie the tag to the front panel with twine.
Create the main image panel by die cutting a red scallop edge circle panel with a Spellbinders die.
Die cut another slightly smaller scallop edge green circle with a Spellbinders die.
Stamp elf on a die cut white circle and color with markers.
Adhere all the panels together as shown and then adhere to card with Scrap Happy Sheer Glue.
When you adhere the image to the card, only use Scrap Happy Sheer Glue on the part that is attached to the "Present Patterned Paper" so that the front panel can still swing open.
Then on the inside of the card, create this panel by stamping and coloring the image. Back it with red cardstock and adhere to card.
That's it! I hope you you enjoyed today's "Diagonal Swing Front Card" tutorial and that you will give it a try!
