A Gift with Leaves

Ok...I admit it...this was not my original idea!

I saw it on Pinterest.  It was a Sizzix Blog post by Audrey Pettit and when I saw it I knew that one day I would do something similar because I have these fabulous leaf stamps and dies by Stampendous!

Here is a gift I wrapped for one of my friends.

So classy and so simple!
It's a book...but don't tell her....

I wrapped it in a paper bag and stamped Happy Birthday from the Say it Today set by Stampendous on the right side multiple times.

Then I tied the ribbon around it and add the button.

The leaves were stamped on paper that I made with  The Creative Palette Monoprinting Plate and Dec Art paint.  I stamped the leaves from the Pen Patterned Leaves set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.  Finally, I just randomly glued them on to the package.

I just love how this makes a very simple gift look like something so special.
I hope it inspires you to decorate a gift soon!
The recipient will be sooo impressed!

Thanks for stopping by!
Check back all week for more Leaf inspiration!
