I am back today with another card that I made using this months Rubber Cafe' Creative Cafe' Card Kit of the Month!
You can see all the info about this months kit, Take Flight, here.
To make today's card I started by making a top folding A2 card out of the dark grey cardstock that comes in the kit. To do so fold a 11" by 4 1/4" piece of cardstock in half to create a 5 1/2"" x 4 1/4" card.
Adhere a panel of 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of shimmery white cardstock to the card with Scrap Happy Sheer Glue.
Cut a 5 1/4" x 4" panel of patterned paper. Don't worry about the hole because it will be covered up.
Add two strips of Queen & Co. Trendi Tape from the Creative Cafe' Card Kit to the panel. Leave about 1 1/4" space in the middle of the two pieces of tape.
Adhere a 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" of patterned paper in between the two pieces of Trendy Tape with Scrap Happy Sheer Glue.
Adhere the panel to the card with Scrap Happy Sheer Glue. Tie on a piece of black seam binding from the kit.
Die cut a label out of the shimmery cardstock. Any small die will work for this step or just trip a small panel to fit the sentiment. Stamp a sentiment on the die cut label with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with black embossing powder. If you don't have embossing powder you can just use black ink for this step.
Stamp the balloon image on to a white panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Cut out the image. Sponge on some Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink to soften the white parts on the balloon image.
Adhere the balloon to the card with 3D Foam Squares. Add a black rhinestone from the kit and you're all done!
I hope you enjoyed today's card! You can see more cards created with this months kit on The Rubber Cafe' Blog!
