The first month of the new year is nearly over!
In honor of the birth of 2015, we've decided that our monthly challenge for January will be Birthday Wishes. We'd love for you to play along with us, and link your creations to the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of this post, or on the Dream It Up! blog, for a chance to win the stencil of your choice...and remember, using Dreamweaver products gets you bonus points towards an extra stencil!
Here is my bright birthday card using LL591 Three Butterflies.
I didn't really intend to create this bright of a card but it kind of took on a direction of it's own.
I started by stenciling the three butterflies on blue cardstock with white embossing paste.
When it dried I colored the image with colored pencils.
Check out what the rest of the team created for you today!

Love the bright, bold card! Makes me happy.
Beautiful...and so making me anxious for spring when I can see some real life butterflies. You've really captured lovely colors with your design!
Beautiful Birthday Butterfly. Say that 10X fast. Love the colors.
This is beautiful Kristine! LOVE the bright colors too!
So vibrant and pretty!
Beautiful butterflies!
Oddly enough, I have never thought to color the embossing paste with colored pencils! You can bet I will very soon! This is just absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE the bright, happy colors! I can't tell you how many times I've started a card in one direction and it has ended up in another. Funny how that happens!
Very pretty!! What kind of colored pencils did you use? I can't imagine the kinds of pencils I have working this well. Wow, now that I know I can used colored pencils with the paste and it be so bright, maybe I'll use paste more often, and get some good pencils!!
