Frou Frou Fun with Dreamweaver

Break out the frou frou! For the month of February, the Dream Team are going Frilly and Fabulous! Vintage, retro, or modern, adding extra charm with fun Fran•tagĂ©products from Stampendous, ribbons and lace from May Arts, buttons, crystals, charms, or even creating your own dimensional decor!

A snippet or a pile, whatever your creative heart desires! Remember to link your creations using the Inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog for a chance to win the stencil of your choice!

Bonus points for using Dreamweaver and/or Stampendous product in your work of heart.

Here is a card that I made for this months challenge.

When I sat down to write this post I went searching for this stencil at Stencils with Style and couldn't find it!  Oops...it might be retired.  No time to make something else.
But if you want to recreate this card there are a lot of amazing stencils that you could use for the background and get similar results.  Some of the ones I would suggest are:
Hibiscus Pattern
Flower Lace and
Mission Roses would all work great!

For my background I stenciled my Tulip stencil on white cardstock with white embossing paste.
When it dried I put the stencil back in place and brushed on Metallic FX powders on to color.

The lacy ribbon is from May Arts.
The lovely Butterflies are from the Cling Lovely Garden stamp set from Stampendous.
I used the matching die set to cut out the Butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card Kristine. The background and butterflies work gorgeously together. The white mesh/lace looks perfect on your card!

I love the way you did this card. The background is so pretty. and the butterflies are so wonderfully floating it seems.
