Skating with Teddy

I am so excited!

The newest release of High Hopes Rubber Stamps is hot off the press and ready to go.

To help celebrate this newest release of Christmas/Halloween/Fall rubber stamps the gals from both the High Hopes and OCS Design Teams are hosting a Blog Hop from the 1st to the 5th of this month and and winner/winners will be chosen on the 7th.

Make sure you visit each gal to see what new release they have on their blog and then go back to the challenge posts and leave a commnet on the OCS or High Hopes blogs.

Today, I am starting off the hop with the new Skating with Teddy image.
I paired this adorable girl with the Winter Wonderland Background and made a bright, fun easel card.

To create the background I colored the Winter Wonderland Background with Copic Markers (B000 YG67 YG25 YG21)

The "snow" was added with Spoonfull of Snow Embossing Powder and Elements from Stampendous.
You can get a similar look using White Shabby Embossing Powder.

Then I stamped the Skating with Teddy image on white cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers (E50 E51 E93 Y21 Y23 Y24 RV17 RV14 RV13 RV10 B000 C1 E31 E33 E35)
I "paper pieced" the hats and scarfs with paper from My Minds Eye.
I cut out the image close the the edges and then adhered it to the colored background with 3D foam squares.

I adhered the finished scene to a 5" square dark pink panel and then adhered that to a 5 1/4" pink square panel.

The create the easel part of the card I folded a 5 1/4"  10 1/2" dark pink panel of card stock in half to create a 5 1/4" square card and then folded the front in half to create the "easel".
I decorated the inside panel and raised it up on 3D foam squares so that it would hold the easel in place.

I added glue to the lower portion of the front of the card.

And then I adhered the main image panel to the card base.

The sentiment is, Have an Ice Day, from the new release as well.

I hope you enjoyed my card!
There are many more amazing images and fabulous projects on the hop...enjoy!

Next stop on today's hop....Shari M.
