Stenciled Christmas Tree

I have another card to share using the Create Christmas stamps and dies from Stampendous.

But since it's Dreamweaver Thursday, I tried something a little different.

To create this tree I started by stenciling the Christmas Borders Stencil with Silver embossing paste.

I carefully removed the stencil and allowed the paste to dry.
Then I used the Create Christmas Dies to cut out my tree layers.

When I assembled my tree I adhered the bottom layer directly to the card.
The second layer was adhere with 3D Foam Squares.
For the third layer I doubled up the foam squares so that it would sit higher than the layer below it.
I tripled the foam squares for the top layer.
The trunk was just cut from a scrap of brown cardstock.

A bunch of my teammates are sharing projects today!

Check them out:

Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous tree! The silver stenciling looks like the boughs of the tree, fabulous job! Thank you for sharing today!
