Altered Frames

No stamping to share today. I spent most of Saturday making a bunch of RAK's for some of the Paperpretties members and then hopped on a plane to MN on Sunday morning. I'll be here till Wednesday.

After this trip I should be home for a while and can get back to my regular stamping routine. Even though they aren't stamped, I do have a couple of cute altered frames to share with you.

This one is one I made for Christie Ortman, the owner of Paperpretties. One of our design team challenges last month was to make an altered frame. I had never done one before so this was a fun challenge. Julie Campbell sent each of us a frame from the Target $1 spot and challenged us to alter them. I used the Basic Grey Blush collection paper and letters from the PP Corner Store. Christie had this picture of her boys on her website so I printed it out and put it in the frame and sent it just like this. She loved it!

This is the frame that Julie Masse made me. Isn't it beautiful? She put one of my favorite quotes inside the frame. I think I will eventually put a picture in it but for now I just enjoy having it on the shelf in my craft room!

Both of these frames were less than $3 to make. What a great gift these would make! I am definitely planning on making more of these great frames!

I love what you did with Christie's frame - she did too!! Glad you liked yours too! Oh, and Julie Campbell was the one that did this challenge - much as I'd love to take credit for her GREAT idea!! :)
