Happy Birthday

I was camping this weekend so I didn't have a chance to post any of my samples using the new happy2color stamps and matching dies.

These words are so fun to color.
I tried to match this fun paper from the  Hello Friend paper pad.

The present was made with the Sizzix Triplit gifts dies.

The gallery is starting to fill up with samples using this new set.

You'll see more from me as soon as I get some more crafting time!

Holiday Place Cards

I know i'ts only July and seems a little early to think about Christmas but I try to knock out the easy projects in the summer so that I am not doing them last minute during the hustle and bustle of the season.

I thought it would be fun to make crafty table decorations this year!

I'm not quite done but I'll share what I've completed so far.

First I am making these quick and easy place cards
with Stampendous stuff..

I started by cutting the base out of vanilla paper. 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" and folding in half

I stamped and die cut the gifts using stamps and dies from the new Seated Elf Cling Stamps and Dies. This fun Bo Bunny paper means no coloring on this project!

I added a layer of Bo Bunny paper to the tags and then a slightly smaller layer of vanilla paper.
I stamped the names with letters from the Vintage lowercase stamp set.

I also made some napkin holders to match the placecards.

Both of these are projects the kids or grand kids could help you with!

I started by cutting a toilet paper roll into 3/4" pieces.

I cut a 1" by 6" strip of Bo Bunny paper out and ran it through my Xyron to add adhesive to the back.  Then I wrapped it around the ring.

The I glued the previously die cut gifts to the ring and wala!
A cute napkin holder is ready!

These projects are quick and easy to make and will make your table look great this season!

Hope you enjoyed them!

Mice Art

Today I am sharing a couple of framed projects that I made for a couple of my work mates.
We have a "morning huddle" every morning at work to review any news and share updates.  This past month our boss had us take turns sharing a quote that is important to us.

Two of the girls shared quotes that I happened to have stamps for so I made them little 5 x 7 frames to keep in their work station.

Here is the first one.

This one uses QQ0822F Abraham Lincoln Quote from Verses Rubber Stamps
It also uses Daisy Float by House Mouse Design from Stampendous.

Here is the second one.

This one uses MC0663F Take Another Shot from Verses Rubber Stamps.

I wish I could make everyone a little inspirational frame...hmmm....maybe eventually I will!

This is an easy project and it was appreciated by the ladies that I gave them too.  One of my favorite things about this hobby is the joy that I am able to bring to others.

I hope you garnered a little inspiration too!

Trucking Through the Holidays

Happy Friday!

I am super excited because I took today off work and am headed to Pismo Beach to camp for the weekend!  I will be sitting on the beach drinking wine and coloring images for three days...heaven!

But before I go I wanted to share a card that I made.
This week Stampendous is featuring their new stamp set, Truck-Tidings.

This set is made as a Christmas set with a truck, a tree and gifts all with matching dies.
I needed a birthday card so I decided to turn it into a fun birthday card.

What do you think?

I colored everything with colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.
The grass is from The Stamps of Life.

I popped up everything with Scrapbook Adhesives's 3D foam.

I will be making more of these but in "boy colors" to have on hand for my guy birthdays!

Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration.
Much more on the Stampendous Blog!
