Baby Wipe Technique

This is another card I made during the VSN this past weekend. It was made using the baby wipe technique. I had never tried this technique before. It's really very easy and the results are very cool. You probably notice that the purple and pink cuttlebug matches perfectly. When I first started using the cuttlebug embossing folders for this type of layered look I actually embossed each color separately trying to match them up. Crazy, huh? Then I figured out that it worked best to adhere the paper together (purple piece to pink card in this example) an then emboss the whole piece...duh...huh? Much easier and it looks so cool. The flowers were stamped with the baby wipe technique and cut out. The leaves were stamped in celery ink and cut out. Then I glued the flowers and leaves to the blue backed white panel and attached it to the card. I don't know where I bought the ribbon. It's one of those rolls I have had around forever.
Stamps: Bodacious Boquet, small script
ink: lilac, brilliant blue, celery, pretty in pink
paper: pretty in pink, lilac, brilliant blue
accessories: baby wipes, re-inkers, hodge podge hardware

Thank you for the "Oh, yeah. Of course." moment. I love the card and the cuttlebug thing - oh yeah!

Super cool. Where the heck have I been. I guess I didn't visit this week or else you have been sneaking in cards. LOL
