I had a little time last night to play more with the cards that I bought

at
JoAnn's. This card started with the plaid card. I cut the bottom off and scalloped the edges with my corner punch. Then I added a white
scalloped piece and then the gable green card stock to the bottom portion.
Stamps: Girlfriend
Paper: card from
JoAnn's, white, coral, gable green.
Ink: black, gable green, coral
Accessories: sponge, decorative scissors, gross-grain ribbon,
dimensionals, markers, corner punch

I think I must be feeling sad that
SU! is retiring so many of my favorite sets in July. I keep finding myself reaching for the sets that are going away. This is one of my favorite stamps for making men's birthday cards. This card started with the square patterned card from the Extreme pack of cards from
JoAnn's. The
Cuttlebug embossing works perfectly with the squares. It's pretty simple but I was trying not to put too much "foo-foo" on this card.
Stamps: Words by Wilson
Paper: card from
JoAnn's, bashful blue,
turquoise, garden green, white
Ink: black, garden green
Accessories: watercolor pencils,
cuttlebug embossing folder, gross-grain ribbon,
dimensionals

Oh...they are so fun!
Super cute. I love the girlfriends one. Great layouts on both of them.
