Garden Silhouettes

I wanted to play with my new Garden Silhouette stamp set a little more. I inked up those pretty flowers with red ink and the stems with green and as soon as the stamp hit the paper I knew the image was going to look like Christmas. I turned the card into a thank you card but as soon as my daughter saw it she asked, "Isn't it a little early to be making your Christmas thank you cards"? Yep...that's my daughter for you...keeping me humble. I have used this sketch for other cards but I just really like the way it looks.
Stamps: Stampin' Up!
Ink: Hunter, red
Paper: Hunter, red, white
Accessories: scallop oval punches, hardware from JoAnn's, brads, ribbon, oval cutter
After stamping the flowers in a row this card took on an Asian feel to me so I went with that. I sponged the torn edges and wraped the flower panel with silver cord. Added the friendship sentiment and wala!
Stamps: Stampin' Up!
Ink: red, hunter, black
Paper: moss, red, white, black
Accessories: silver cord, cuttlebug, square punches

Pretty cards! I'm really liking what I've seen created using that stamp set. :)
