If I had to describe my stamping style I would say it leans more toward "cutesie" than elegant. But the two cards I am sharing with you today are very elegant. I made them for the Dare to get Dirty challenges over the weekend. This is why I love the SCS challenges and why I encourage you to try them. The challenges encourage me to try techniques, layouts, and colors that I would not have thought of on my own. It stretches my creativity and pulls me out of my comfort zone to a place where I am usually pretty happy! This card was made for a sketch challenge. When I first saw the sketch I did not like it but wow! I love this card. You can see more cards made with this sketch here.

I made this card for a color challenge. The colors? Black and brown. I have never made a card with these colors. The challenge mentioned using flowers so I though I would try it. What a striking, elegant card. I would encourage you to play with black and brown for your next card!
